Guinness and Mustard Braised Corned Beef and Cabbage

Easiest ever Saint Patrick’s Day dinner. Thank goodness for slow cookers, like my Breville Fast Slow Cooker. Who ever coined the phrase “set it and forget it” was a genius. Seriously, a genius. I had a lot going on yesterday, yet I was still able to put together a nice meal, and not just any meal. This was a treat, tasted like it came from a restaurant, and was a hit with everyone (so much so, that my 11 year old ate leftovers for dessert!). I am convinced the beer-mustard mixture is what made the taste, as I used no water to cook the brisket at all. This was pure flavor from start to finish. It did not disappoint.
