When I don’t feel good, I long for the old days of comforts like sick days full of scalding hot, vile lemon flavored Theraflu. I miss the medication induced coma that followed, too. (I actually kind of do) I try really hard not to resort to meds much anymore, because OTC meds are full of gluten, sugars, colors, alcohol, and junk I don’t need. Usually they just cover up a problem, and rarely offer more than a nap or bandaid effect. I’d like to tell you that there are other solutions.

How To: (1 serving)
1TBSP Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
1TBSP Organic Lemon Juice
1TBSP Raw Local Honey
1/2tsp cayenne powder
Mix and serve warm or cold. Take 3-5 times a day till you chase the cold bug away!
Options: sliced ginger helps greatly, too! Omit the cayenne if you can’t handle it!
