Keep It Simple- Toast and Coffee

We’re just going to recoup today, it’s another sick day, with both kids home for the day. It’s going to be a no-frills day in the kitchen…and that’s okay. They can’t all be Bon Appetit days.

Toast and coffee.

K.I.S.S.=Keep it simple stupid

I brewed my coffee in my espresso machine INTO my almost empty ghee jar, to get the last dregs out. I added a smidgen of mct oil to the jar first, brewed the coffee, then let it just melt the ghee in the jar, like an easy gheezy bulletproof coffee.

Sometimes bulletproof coffee is enough for me, but I’m on meds and needed to eat a bit. Udi’s gluten-free bread isn’t a normal staple here, but I keep it for emergencies or random cravings. I happened to have this cinnamon raisin toast on hand, just toasted it, and added a big dollop of omghee.
